ERA continues to provide the industry buyers guide for electronic retailers

Irving, TX, February 8, 2010:  The Electronic Retailing Association (ERA) has introduced the second year of their online buyers guide, the Goldbook Online, featuring industry-specific product and service listings. The guide is designed to aid dedicated electronic marketers, retailers, inventors, and entrepreneurs with their important purchasing decisions.

This one-of-a-kind guide still includes basic and advanced search capabilities and a downloadable desktop search application, giving users the ability to search for items directly from a small search window on their desktops – making the search process convenient and time-efficient.  Along with the option to purchase a graphically robust company listing, the guide allows supplier companies to add videos to their listing for a small administrative fee. This feature gives guide users immediate access to video formatted information and promotions that will help them easily procure products and services specific to their industry needs.

The 2010 edition of the guide has been given a facelift in an effort to improve appearance and usability and offers some fantastic new features. Enhanced listings still come complete with a company description and logo, but now include direct email and website links to social networking sites, white papers, product catalog, as well as the ability to add specific products and brands.  The guide has also added an advertising option to highlight specific products in the Product Showcase, which rotates on the site and appears in completed listings.

The guide can be found on the Electronic Retailing Association homepage at www.retailing.org.
