Vendor Information Profiles (VIPs)An important part of creating a useful Online Supplier Directory is verifying the accuracy of the listing information contained within the directory. MultiView begins by contacting 100% of the association's supplier members and updating the supplier's business information. Upon completion of this review process, all gathered data is forwarded to the association so that it may update its supplier files. Standard supplier data includes contact information, business description, products and services offered, website address and e-mail address for sales inquiries. Additional information can be gathered during this process, if necessary. MultiView utilizes a proprietary set of software tools to maintain and update VIPs throughout the year. Suppliers listed in the directory have the capability to maintain their own profile through a password-protected web interface. All changes to company profiles are reviewed for quality and “cleanliness” prior to being displayed in the search results. |
